New Chromatica Spring Summer 2024 Collection

Maison Sarah Lavoine unveils its new collection, imbued with warmth and nuances

Maison Sarah Lavoine stops off in Mexico and signs a warm collection, with intense colors and contrasting materials, a true ode to escape.

A constant source of inspiration, travel nourishes Sarah Poniatowski. It is while strolling through the colorful streets of Mexico City, thanks to the ambient heat, that she soaks up all the riches that the country has to offer. Between aesthetics and emotion, calm and excitement, tradition and unusual, Mexico appears obvious for this new collection.

Sarah is thus inspired by Mexican architecture and particularly by the way in which color sculpts spaces. A deep blackcurrant, a gleaming Paprika, a vibrant Lagoon and a solar Amarillo add to the iconic colors and punctuate the fervor of these new lines.

Both warm and bright, this collection echoes the relaxation and lightness of the summer season. Shapes and spaces are seen as a playground, in which nothing is fixed and where surprise takes on its full meaning. New modular and deep seats push comfort to its peak - in reference to vintage armchairs from the seventies - and are dressed in a French terry fabric. An invitation to spontaneity, each element then becomes adaptable, like the armchair with an adjustable angle.

New materials come to the party: the iconic Double Jeu chair is renewed with a lighter fabric and brass legs. The rules change, accumulation and diversion are encouraged with the Puzzle table which is revealed in a new light, with a round top available in three sizes, and the Riviera table which, for its part, lengthens its lines and reveals a top bigger.

The textiles play on repetition through intense and original patterns: the Maison Sarah Lavoine monogram, the new icon of the House, revives the art of the table. New cushions with rounded lines are adorned with a jungle print and the essential Aura and Azimut flirt with the new summer palette. The Arroz throw gives pride of place to graphic lines and calls for movement thanks to its versatile use.

A real dance of materials takes place in this line of decorative objects. If since its beginnings, the House has placed ceramics at the heart of its creations, this season, it unveils the Sablier lamp, an evocation of light and time. The work of textures and raw materials also have their place with the Aquarius lamp. The Diana pendant light adopts an oblong shape and the Vadim pendant light plays in a trio.

In Cassis and Lagon, the Stella candles, the Gemini tealight holders and the Slave candleholders feature a summer color chart.

On the ready-to-wear side , the summer wardrobe will be radiant: Tie and Dye and the monogram are available on the t-shirts, lurex subtly decorates the key pieces, and silk offers its share of surprises on a dress blazing red. New models such as a V-neck sweater, light and reversible pants, or a cotton canvas jacket join the House's iconic denims.
