Why a collaboration in the world of children?
The desire to always go further and test new playgrounds. The world of children is simply part of an art of living. I love furnishing, decorating, giving meaning to an interior and more particularly children's bedrooms. I am lucky to have a grown-up daughter, a teenager and a little boy and I take great pleasure in playing with shapes, colors and materials according to their ages and desires.
Why BONTON?
Bonton because it is THE brand of the French children's universe. We have strong values in common such as developing timeless and resolutely timeless pieces, privileging the know-how of each product and creating the detail that makes the difference. For Maison Sarah Lavoine, it is an opportunity to be able to partner with professionals in this universe, to create together new furniture in the right colors. And then I really like the brand and it is a beautiful story of meeting.
What was your inspiration for this capsule collection?
The desire to develop a line that corresponds to the icons of Maison Sarah Lavoine and to translate these codes into the world of children. I am also a mother and it is not easy to find THE piece that will make your child's room switch to a more decorative world. I wanted us to work together on a unique collection with a real design bias, beautiful color combinations and add a little style. We thus find a mix and match of colors to create a pop and timeless harmony, pieces with a refined and elegant design, a mix of materials...
